MEET PAUL:
AKA: “PAULINHO”
Paul Enrique Grandacarpio is a UEFA-licensed coach and former All-American athlete originally from Cuenca, Ecuador. With extensive international playing experience—including time with SV Sandhausen’s U17–U19 teams in Germany, and competing in Northern Ireland’s Second Division—Paul developed a deep understanding of the global game. In the U.S., he earned All-American honors at the NAIA Division I level and later played for two-time UPSL National Champions, Soda City FC.
Transitioning into coaching, Paul has led teams at the NAIA Division I level, helped guide Soda City to continued UPSL success, and coached a high school program to three 3A state championships. His proven development program focuses on enhancing technical ability and mental strength, helping players reach collegiate levels (NCAA Divisions I, II, III) and professional leagues in Uruguay, Ecuador, Greece, and Thailand. Paul is committed to unlocking every athlete’s full potential through personalized, elite-level training.
“Train the mind and the feet will follow.”

“Coach Pauly has been a tremendous influence along my soccer journey. What has impacted me most from his training and teachings was his understanding of the technical side of the game and how important having good technique can improve my game vastly.
He’s different from other coaches because he has played at the highest levels of soccer around the world and brings multiple perspectives about the beautiful game.
He’s has helped me off the field by helping connect with God and reassuring me of my ability on the field.”
Caleb Daniels | Soda City UPSL 2X National Champion
I saw myself improve a lot by working with Coach Paul. He helped for me to make the jump from club/high school to college soccer and from college to semi pro soccer. Coach Paul taught me the professional mindset that I need to improve in every training session and enabled me to get the most out of every session.
Coach Paul understands and emphasizes both the technical and mental side of the game. He helps for players to “lock-in” and take their mindset to team practices and games.
I hope to keep the attitude that Coach Paul has towards soccer/football. It is a way of life. It allows for you meet people from all around the world and to impact them in major ways. You make lifelong connections on the field and those in themselves make football so special on top of the fun in playing and competing.
